My teaching method involves teacher’s word, conversation, work with a textbook, analysis of language material, technical and visual aids, exercises.
Teacher’s word is the general name of all the teacher’s statements in the lesson: messages on the topic and tasks of the lesson, motivation of students' learning activities, explanations of new material and the task for independent work. Used at all stages of training and most of all when explaining new material (from 5 to 15 minutes). It can also be widely used in consolidating and generalizing the learned material.
Conversation involves the participation of both teacher and student. It’s effective at the stage of updating new knowledge in the context of knowledge previously acquired. The conversation is based on questions / answers and is conducted according to a specific plan. Each question for the conversation will be thought out in advance by the teacher, correctly formulated, should be complete and accurate, the logical sequence of questions should evoke the response logic of the students' mental actions.
Work with a textbook is when students independently learn the theory, comprehend it and reinforce it in the process of doing the exercises. The teacher will supervise the activities of students in this case: highlight the main thing in the theoretical part of the paragraph and draw the attention of students to it.
Technical aids are videos. Visual aids are divided into graphic (tables, diagrams), symbolic (cards), graphic (photos and pictures). It often accompanies the method of "word of the teacher” - the student visually perceives information.
