Cambridge graduate offering lessons in English and French language up to any level, based in North London.
Methodology
I tailor my teaching style to each individual student depending on whether they prefer a more or less structured approach. I prefer a conversational, question-based approach, using topics of interest to the student to practice speaking and writing skills and broaden knowledge of grammar and vocabulary. I will also set small written tasks which we will then discuss in the lesson, providing corrections and advice for future improvement.
Experience
I recently completed an MPhil in French literature at Cambridge (Distinction), and previously did an undergraduate degree at Cambridge in French and Spanish (1st). At school I gave lunchtime tutor sessions in French and Spanish grammar. I have excellent knowledge of written and spoken French and am happy to teach at any level, including proofreading written work and advising on university-level essays on French literature.
