I believe in engaging closely with individual students, and am happy to adapt my teaching methodology according to their interests and requirements. I hope to be able to help them with comprehension and analysis of texts, and with fluent communication in their writing.
I am a recent graduate from Cambridge with a BA in History and an MPhil in Medieval History. I'm currently taking some time away from university, but hope to return to academia! At the moment I'm working part-time in London whilst focusing on PhD applications.
I've always been enthusiastic about prose writing, both creative and argumentative. I received a first for my undergraduate dissertation, and a distinction for my MPhil dissertation, both of which were praised for their structure and style.
I grew up often helping my younger brother with homework and revision, which I think have helped me develop an ability to explain things clearly and patiently.
I am currently helping run mock Oxbridge interviews for history applicants at my old school.
