Hello! I'm a year 13 student who hopes to save up a bit for university. I have been learning Spanish for 5 years and I spend at least a month working or studying in a Spanish-speaking country every year. I achieved 11A* in GCSE and currently hold an offer to read Spanish at Cambridge.
I believe my advantages are that I have very personal and recent experience with the exams in the UK, namely GCSE, A-Level and Pre-U. I do believe that exam techniques are extremely important in order to achieve the top marks. In addition, having a tutor of roughly the same age as the tutees should be ideal as we could communicate on better level.
The lesson will be personalised -- I can work around general Spanish knowledge, syllabus, exam techniques etc. I'm also willing to share my passion for Hispanic Literature and Culture.
In year 10-11 I taught Chinese as a second language at my old school (voluntary, after school sessions)
In year 12 I was the Spanish Tutor to a year-9 girl (voluntary service). The girl had just started Spanish in school. We looked at the Spanish linguistics, regular and irregular verb conjugation in present tense and some topics just as family and school. I'm convinced that she went into her GCSE study with much more confidence.
The rate is also £15 if we could meet up in somewhere like a cafe in the city of Westminster.
The rate could also be further discussed.
