I personalise all my sessions specific to the student's requests, using a wealth of resources to provide up to date university applications, both for Oxbridge, as well as other universities. I can also advise on work experience questions. I help students with all parts of their application in the appropriate order, and follow them through the application process, providing mock interviews and relevant feedback. My best advice is start early!
I am a Cambridge uni clinical medical student, with a 1st class degree in Pharmacology. I have 4 years of extensive experience of providing application advice for medicine and Biological Natural Science regarding personal statement, admission tests, interview preparation, work experience and basic A level and GCSE tuition. I am also a University Ambassador for Clare College Cambridge, and work alongside the tutorial team to provide advice for prospective students.
Ed helped me throughout the process of applying to medical school, particularly with interview prep. With the difficulty of COVID-19 the past year I didn’t receive any support from school, so Ed made sure to provide me with materials/websites to look over, and advise me on universities and other general information. The best part of having Ed as a tutor was that it didn’t feel like he was holding my hand, telling me what when and how. He provided me with guidelines and support and answered any questions if I ever had any. Lastly, he is very knowledgable, interesting to talk to and was always on time, attentive and prepared for each lesson.
Ed is a great tutor for medicine applicants, who is very supportive of your thoughts and guides you along the way with any help you require. He listens to your ideas carefully and provides constructive feedback on what went well and how to improve, then checks if you’re ok with it. It’s very conversational. Not just that but he has really unique points and gives you a true wider insight into medicine. I found out about Ed through a friend and I definitely recommend him to others too.
Edward is a fantastic tutor who helped me greatly in preparing for my dental school interviews. He was very reassuring for me and my parents as he was very well-organised and had a plan in place to make sure I gained the knowledge required in order to perform well. I now have 3 offers from 3 interviews and would definitely reccomend Edward as a tutor.
Edward is a great teacher with incredible knowledge in a wide range of areas. He is also well-organised, friendly and patient - I always feel comfortable asking whatever questions I may have. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor!
Edward is a very good tutor who always goes the extra mile to help his students. He is very thorough and understands what is required to perform well on admissions tests and gain a place at medical school. On top of this he is very reliable and kind
Fantastic teaching, I feel really reassured after online teaching sessions and have even achieved top decile positions at med school year 1!
Thankfully with his help, I have soared through my A levels, obtaining 3A*s and am currently studying medicine at Cambridge! Such a lovely person, we sometimes even meet up!
As a gap year student who failed to obtain any offers for medicine, I am extremely pleased as, with his help, I have now secured offers at Sheffield, Imperial and Nottingham! A truly amazing tutor. Will 100% recommend.
