I use different teaching methods and strategies to make the class enjoyable and interesting. I use, for example, cards with words on them which the learners can match together to form a sentence. I make them work individually, or in pairs or in groups. I may also use images, pictures, icons on the computer during my lessons so that the learners may understand better the lesson or how to do an assignment. I can develop an individual learner's plan based on the learner's needs. I monitor the learners' work during the lesson in the class and record their progress.
I have been a secretary in the past for about 12 years. Then I started to teach in FE colleges (Maths, English, IT) while studying for my degree in Computing. I taught Basic Skills for LearnDirect also. I am fluent in English and French.
