I have achieved a distinction in both recital diplomas, ATCL, for Recorder and Clarinet, as well as ABRSM grade 8. I have a First Class Honors Bachelor of Music degree in recorder performance and classroom teaching. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Performance on recorder in Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

1 hour - £27
30 minutes - £15
Trial lessons are available upon request.
Group lessons are available, the fee of which can be discussed, depending on group size.
- Where do you teach?
I live in Peckham and happy to teach in my own home or travel to the students home as far as zone 3.
Travelling further may require travel expenses.
- When are you available?
Lessons can be arranged to suit both teacher and student. I am available most evenings after 4pm, as well as anytime on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach any age and any ability.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
Beginners lessons will involve activities and learning for the pleasure of achievement and fun!
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have experience teaching recorder and clarinet in one-to-one lessons and group settings, as well as teaching general musicianship in the classroom. I have experience working with very young children, having participated in the Wigmore Hall Chamber tots education series. As a soloist and chamber musician I have performed in various venues in Ireland, England, and most recently in Israel.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I don't have CRB, but can get one if neccessary.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I began my musical studies in Limerick Municipal School of Music, Ireland, where I was taught recorder by Maria O' Brien, and clarinet by Tommy Cantilon and Matt O'Gara. I continued my musical studies in the Cork School of Music, Ireland. Here, I studied recorder and clarinet with Elizabeth Jones for my Bachelor of Music degree. I am currently studying recorder with Ian Wilson in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, for my Masters in Music and Performance.
