I am extremely passionate about music and teaching the cello. I love to pass on my enthusiasm to others and encourage my pupils to reach their potential. I understand how every pupil is different and I adapt my teaching to their age and ability.

- How much do you charge?
I charge: £35 an hour
£30 for 45 minutes
£25 for 30 minutes

I teach both at home and at the students home, depending on location.

All ages and all levels.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can enter and prepare my students for Trinity and ABRSM exams.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have years of teaching experience both in schools and through private lessons and currently teach a number of pupils of various ages and abilities.
I have entered numerous students in for grade exams with both ABRSM and Trinity (all students awarded with distinctions and merits).
I have experience in leading and participating in school workshops, many being through Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra's school visits.
I have recently completed my Post Graduate Advanced Diploma in cello performance; studying with David Cohen at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where I gained a Scholarship. Previous to this I graduated with distinction for my Masters degree in cello performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance; where I was awarded a Trinity College scholarship, Pauline Holden Scholarship and a South Square Scholarship.
I have been accepted to participate in many masterclasses with renowned cellists, including Raphael Wallfisch, Martin Lohr, Leonid Gorokhov, Lionel Handy, Daniel Vies, Leonard Elchenbroich, Alexander Ivashkin, Sally Pendlebury, Alexander Baillie and Gemma Rosefield.
In 2017 I was awarded the Friends in New York of TCM London Award/Edgar TP Comley Certificate of Excellence and the Barbirolli Memorial Award for solo cello two years running in 2015 and 2016.
Recently I completed a mentorship scheme with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and performed with the Britten Pears Orchestra, conducted by Marin Alsop.
As well as having a love for teaching, Olivia is a keen member of the Camilli String Quartet. Formed while studying at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2013, the quartet were the winners of the Trinity Laban John Barbirolli Competition in 2015 and were awarded a place on the Richard Carne Chamber Mentorship Scheme. Since then, the quartet have performed in many recitals across the UK and have received coaching from world class chamber musicians, including the Wihan quartet, Kronos quartet, Carducci Quartet and Rivka Golani.
