The objective is to familiarize students with high frequency vocabulary, grammatical structures, and functional language.
My goal is to find what the student wants to improve on, and specifically focus on those areas for better task achievement and overall proficiency.
Through finding patterns of effective English language communication, the students will have great success in exams, interviews, and professional performance.
I`m a CELTA and university graduate with a 2:1 BA(hons) degree in Drama and English.
I have been teaching for three years and I have developed new teaching strategies that revolve around improvisation for natural fluency. These include authentic listening and speaking practice in various environments such as meeting friends in a cafe or conducting a business meeting in a restaurant.
I also participate as an assistant instructor for MMU and Sale ITF Taekwon-do and partake in theatre and film acting.
My online teaching experience has been very enjoyable as I feel like one to one lessons with my students gives me a far better opportunity to evaluate their level and asses their needs to help them achieve their greatest potential. I love talking to new people from all over the world because I always learn something new from each of my students and thus it is a pleasure to help them on their English education journey.
All rates are fixed. I'm offering more sessions evening time throughout the entire week, including night time lessons online.
Planning and Organisation - Experience of creating lesson plans for various English language topics and levels, such as General English weekly classes, special interest classes, and lectures on English language culture. In addition I have experience organising people, resources, and time management procedures within a crowd management setting as a supervisor for Showsec. As a summer camp counsellor I effectively planned and organised my lessons and achieved “Excellent” in my progress report.
Teamwork – From university, I have benefited from and supported my fellow peers with presentations and stage performances. As part of a security team, I have worked closely with my venue colleagues as a response team and a supervisor, leading a group of staff.
Reliability and Responsibility – Excellent attendance record at university and work, often arriving early for preparation. My work demands high standards of care and attention to detail, particularly with planning effective lessons to cater to many students and additionally in regard to the safety and well-being of others, knowing the correct procedures when dealing with conflicts and emergencies.
Communication – My experience at university, camp counselling, and crowd management security has given me the ability to communicate with a wide age and ability range, while also adapting to other cultures. Through my university course, I have developed high-level written and presentation skills. Furthermore, having worked as a clearing ambassador for MMU, I have vastly improved my ability to communicate effectively on the telephone communication.
Information Communications Technology – I have a working knowledge of a range of Microsoft applications, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, which I use to create materials and integrate ICT as a resource within my lessons. I have also used online teaching aids that provide photos and videos, often in conjunction with a whiteboard. Furthermore, during my time as a clearing ambassador, I used the above mentioned IT programs and other in-house systems.

Hi everyone, my name is Aaron Rivera, I'm from Peru, I would like to share with all of you my experience When I was in Manchester in 2018, I took lessons for 14 weeks and I could not be happier because I had the best teacher ever, Cashel, The style of his teaching is very didactic, He has no problems to explain something more than once, and at the end of the class you can told to him, ask him questions, for example I remember that I used to buy the local newspaper, because I wanted to find new words, or sentences to learn and use in my conversations and obviously there were some words that I did not understand and I asked Cashel to help me, I totally recommend Cashel as a teacher. He is the best
