My approach to lessons entirely depends on what the student is aiming to achieve from high level IELTS to simply improvement in speaking, listening and comprehension skills to enable them to converse in English. I believe students learn best by using a wide variety of methods from traditional book style learning through conversation to audio visual methods. I teach in a spiral fashion revisiting and exercising previous skills through different media and in a way that both pushes a student and allows an element of fun. I am a good humoured person and am happiest when I see a student making good progress.
I am a native speaker of English, born in London and brought up in England. I am a qualified secondary school Science teacher with 11 years classroom experience. I have been a self employed English as a Foreign Language teacher since gaining my CELTA qualification in May 2018. I teach one to one both in person and online. I also teach classes of up to 15 students, in person.
