I like to make my students comfortable and give them the lots of opportunities to speak and gain confidence. Students learn best when given the opportunity to speak and practice new language - and making mistakes can be the best way to learn!
It is important for students to practice the full range of the English language - listening, speaking, writing and listening - to build up a comprehensive knowledge of all these areas. I like to use real, everyday teaching materials to give lessons relevance. This means we could be studying newspaper clippings or website pages about topics the student finds interesting.
