The fashion industry englobes loads of different skills.
It's not only about the actual creation of the garment.
Fashion starts with analyzing your ideas, and making those ideas something palpable, something visual so that they can reach more people. I'll help you with the fashion design development and the final fashion illustrations, so from that point people will understand what you want, what you need. The drawing will be the first 'real' form of the final design.
I have been sewing since I was 12, my mother and my grandma have always been around this world and I just found interest on it really soon. We will start with basic sewing skills using some patterns and making some basic shapes if you are a beginner.
Patter cutting is the most technical part of the fashion pathway, but its key to make garments adapted to different body sizes, it also helps the people pf any age groups to interpret the design and understand the design with technical ability. I usually start teaching how to create the basic panels of the garments (top, trousers, skirt) after that you will learn how to edit those basic patterns to create new shapes and silhouettes, also the addition off details like cuffs, collars, button stands...etc to make the garment more professional.
I can also teach additional stuff like embroidery, hand-stitching, knitting with needless, and the creative cloud pack which includes photoshop, indesign, illustrator, adobe premier pro and adobe after effect .
See u soon,
I have been 4 years studying fashion, from where I learned the knowledge I'm trying to transmit to others. Fashion is super broad at the same time as is enriching, because you end up researching about topics you will never care about. You leave your comfort zone because there are no limits when creating. With my students I always try to leave them space, to let them be free.
