Central Saint Martins final year Art student preparing for a successful application to art schools in the UK
Methodology
Applying to art school, the development of your unique voice and launching your work to the market are stages when you need more support than ever. I would like to help you be more confident and critical about your practice.
My lessons are tailored to your needs. Before the session, I will look into your most recent work which gives me a bigger picture of what is your creative voice and which pathway would benefit you most. I believe that coming out with your expression is a matter of time thus I am a very encouraging tutor to my students. I am trained both in classical (academic) approach and a more liberal one like Central Saint Martins. I am aware of the fast pace of the industry so I will try to implement our sessions with varied and dynamic angles of the art process (historic and contemporary context, visual references and manual practice across different mediums).
Experience
I am Marta Klara, I have a Polish background but for the last 5 years I focused my career and education in Arts around UK. I am a final year BA Fine Art student at Central Saint Martins which is continuously ranked among the best ten art schools in the world. My previous experience spans the extensive history of art curriculum with painting training, formal preparation in photography as well as performative expression through film and theatre. Before I have been teaching for almost a year as a tutor, I completed portfolio preparation courses myself. I am competent and skilled in areas of research, design process, drawing and digital mediums.
