About Crystal
I am a certified OCT teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching and supporting students in Grades 7 to 12, with a strong focus on history and social studies. I bring a deep understanding of curriculum expectations, as well as effective strategies for developing critical thinking, analysis, and strong writing skills.
I am committed to creating a professional, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel confident exploring ideas and building their skills. I take a patient, student-centered approach and adapt my teaching to meet individual learning needs, including supporting diverse learners and students with IEPs.
My goal is to help students not only improve their understanding of history and social studies, but also develop confidence, independence, and a strong ability to think critically and communicate their ideas effectively.
