About Zachary
I have been teaching Physics and Mathematics for over 13 years, and I hold advanced degrees in education and physics from both the USA and Cameroon. My MEd in Advanced Teaching gives me insights into modern teaching methods that ensure you are learning in the best way possible , especially the IB curriculum and other curricula that emphasize global competence.
Having worked with students of different backgrounds, I understand the challenges you may face in learning these subjects. I’ve helped many students master these concepts, not just to pass exams, but to truly understand and apply them.
My goal isn’t just to teach you Physics or Maths — it’s to ensure that you excel and feel confident in your abilities. I’m always here to support you, whether you’re struggling with a concept or looking to push yourself further.
I’ve always been passionate about Physics and Math, and I want to share that passion with you. I believe that with the right approach, everyone can understand these subjects. Instead of following the traditional pedagogical approach of teacher-centredness that tend to leave some students wanting, I utilise various student-centred techniques to meet the learning needs of my diverse student groups. My lessons in physics and mathematics are usually effective because I only act as a facilitator, and guide my students to fully engage and interact via problem-based, project-based, inquiry-based, and collaborative instructional approaches.
