I teach my classes in Spanish and English.
A session can take from 1 hour to 2 hours. I build the class in accordance to the student's needs. We will follow a unique approach in accordance to your needs to achieving your well-being and fitness goals.
The classes are for all levels. If beginners, we will follow a structured 10 weeks progressive plan where we engage and build progressively the class structure mentioned below.
With a soft dynamic and energizing practice, including a variety of breathing techniques, yoga postures and exercises designed to improve your strength and flexibility, work your heart, tone your body and declutter your mind and improve circulation; I will help you to build a healthy balance of strength, stamina, flexibility and relaxation through fluid sequencing of movements.
The structure of my classes is as follows:
- Warm up and breathing techniques (pranayama); sun salutations, several flows (sequencing of postures), balances, inversions, forwards bends, backbends, and relaxation.
What type of yoga I teach?
I teach a variety of different styles of yoga; Hatha Yoga, Sivananda Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. With the aim of finding the connection between the mind, body and breath through movement.
My years of dance and love for sports have heavily influenced my yoga style and I like to develop creative flows of postures to create my classes.
Hola! I have been practicing yoga for 10 years. I am a person in love with body movement, dance and sports and as expected from the beginning I felt in love with the yoga practice which lead me to engage with different kinds of Yoga.
Two years ago I became a Certified Yoga Teacher, engaging in a RYT 200 training course taught in English. Since then I have been teaching in different institutions (university, yoga studios, gyms and privately) and to different groups of people of different ages, levels and skills with different practice interests and goals. Such as university students from the theater group and from the running club; yoga focused on women over 40 years old, and yoga for men….
