I am an enthusiastic and intelligent person who is keen to help others achieve their academic and musical goals. I love to teach and to see the progress that my pupils make and am always happy to tackle every challenge given to me. I always try to achieve as much as possible in every lesson whilst having fun and love seeing my pupils succeed.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I teach Key Stage 3 and GCSE Music, English and History; A-Level History, Music and Politics; University Entrance; University Music and English as a Foreign Language. I also offer Essay Writing and Proofreading.
I teach Clarinet, Classical Saxophone, Piano, Music Theory, Musicianship and can coach Chamber Music.

I have 8 GCSEs (6A*s, 2As), four AS-Levels (4As) and 3 A2-Levels (3As).
- How much do you charge?
I charge £30/hr or £15/30 minutes. I will give consultation lessons for free but will charge a small amount to cover any travelling costs for all lessons. Group lessons will be at a lower cost per person than individual lessons.
- Where do you teach?
I teach at home but am willing to travel students' homes around London.
- When are you available?
I am available to teach after school/work hours and during weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
In academic terms, I teach the levels shown above. For instrumental teaching, I can teach clarinet, saxophone and chamber music to any level and piano to Grade 6. I am happy to teach all ages.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
I can prepare my students for GCSEs, A-Levels, University Music and for any music exams (I am used to ABRSM exams but can prepare pupils for others). However, I am always willing to tackle a new challenge.

I am happy to tutor via email.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
Learning should be fun and I always aim to make this the case in my lessons. I am willing to tackle any challenge and always listen to my pupils and find ways to help you progress in your studies as quickly as possible.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have an LRAM diploma for teaching clarinet and currently teach clarinet and saxophone at a private school in Ealing. I have taught at other schools in the past, including teaching piano, and teach clarinet and saxophone privately. I have a wealth of experience in chamber music, both playing in and coaching groups.
I have extensive academic experience through my degree at the University of Cambridge.

My current school is in the process of providing me with one.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I obtained my Masters from the Royal Academy of Music, where I studied clarinet with Timothy Lines. My BA (Hons) degree is from the University of Cambridge.
