My teaching methodology is unique to each student and depends on their personal academic goals, whether they just want a pass or whether they aim to achieve the highest grades. I take a much more practical approach to learning going through key concepts and ideas. I will go through examples and then allow them to practice said concepts, going through and explaining any methodology mistakes they have made.
I am a chemical engineering student at the university of Leeds who achieved A grades in both chemistry and Maths at A level. I have previously taught 3 students in both GSCE higher and foundation levels. Being a student myself I can interact with the younger students on a more personal level, making them more comfortable in their working environment. In my experience I have mainly taught students who don't feel comfortable with an experienced adult teaching them and whom would prefer someone closer to their own age teaching them.
