About the lesson

Every student has different strengths and weaknesses, and tailoring their lessons to suit their needs is very important for success. I have already performed 1:1 lessons with students in both GCSE and ALevel chemistry in which they have had outstanding improvements. I am available to the students by email at any time if they have any questions before or after our sessions. I am currently a lab technician in a well-established school, in which I help out with revision sessions for Alevel chemistry and have a great understanding of the practical side of the course. My only goal is to watch my students grow more confident in a much-loved subject of mine, making sure they can achieve their goals.

The main focus of my sessions is to walk through many different styles of exam questions, so my students are well prepared for anything that could possibly come up! You will receive question packages and summary sheets created by myself and can cover any questions you are struggling with. I will focus on one topic at a time so that we can thoroughly discuss the content in detail whilst going through questions... as personally from experience this is THE BEST preparation for exams.

About Kayleigh

I’m Kayleigh and I’m a recent chemistry graduate from The University of Birmingham. I am so passionate about chemistry and I want to make sure that you get the best out of this subject. As it is (as I know from first hand experience) a hard subject with many concepts to consider, my teaching will allow you to contrast your learning with other parts of the course to allow a better understanding. My methods of teaching are very interactive where we will explore many different questions as this is vital for exam practise. I will also be available to you by email at anytime before and after our sessions if you wish to contact me about certain topics or questions you may need help with. I hope our time together will be valuable to you and I only wish the best for you and we can achieve together.

Perfect! Kayleigh is very thoughtful teacher, who puts a lot of thought how she presents the material. Her lessons were engaging, useful, and she was very patient always encouraging and supportive . I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning Chemistry. I couldn’t wish for a better teacher then Kayleigh. I know that Chemistry could be very difficult but not so much with a good teacher like her.
