Whenever I begin teaching students I try to use their preferred learning styles (more practical based, listening based, or writing based). I am confident in giving lessons up to GCSE level by using these methods. I plan each lesson ahead of time and hone onto whatever the student needs to help them to progress through their studies.
I am a student studying for a Chemistry degree, I have tutored younger relatives for years but feel ready to teach and help others to grow. My students so far have all achieved their grades and as a minimum received a grade A*-C (I am aware that the grading system has now changed). When at school I was classed as gifted and talented in Maths and the Sciences and have since chosen to develop my skills further in Chemistry specifically.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to accept students outside of the Plymouth area due to only using public transport. There must be at least 24 hours notice prior to cancellation otherwise the client will still be required to pay for the cancelled tutorial.
