PASSION PROJECTS

Python
2020-Present
- In my spare time, I have been teaching myself the
how to program in Python via Udemy courses, looking
ahead, I would also like to master C++ and Java.
- I find that the way of thinking I gained from this has
enhanced my approach to problem solving both in my
daily activities and my degree.

French
2018-Present
-I take extra credit French classes as languages have
always been a passion of mine.
- Through this I had the opportunity to be on the
departmental debate team in 2019. This experience
allowed me to become more confident and improved
my oral French as talking in front of a large audience
in a foreign language is both a daunting and
exhilarating experience.

Acting Class Rep
2018-Present
- I have been the acting class rep for my degree
stream since 1st year. In this role, I have successfully
helped implement several changes to improve the
quality of education and student life.
- For example, I ensured that the curriculum will be
rearranged to create a more balanced workload on
year 2 students.
- I also organised a support group-chat for all years to
provide networking and social opportunities
- Additionally, I was able to set up student-led tutoring
groups to help with exam preparations for more junior
years.
- This year, I have had the crucial role in ensuring that
online learning went smoothly for all of the classes
being undertaken by third years by liaising with both
senior staff members and our lecturers.
