Chinese taught from a native English speaker's perspective, 1st Class Honours Chinese Language graduate with working experience in China available to teach Mandarin from beginner to advanced levels

Methodology

My methodology is very flexible and I often go off the students strengths. For example, if oral language is a strong suit then that is the place to begin to build confidence. However Mandarin is unique among other languages due it's character system, therefore it is important to build a foundation early on with writing and reading exercises from prepared materials

Experience

I have studied Chinese for the past 5 years at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, including one year living in Beijing. I have a passion for languages and have a strong interest in other cultures. I believe I can teach you not only to speak Chinese but to think Chinese!
