Chloe - Clerkenwell - History

Methodology

I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over five years in Spain, Czech Republic and Britain. I have taught General English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, IELTS exam training, Study Skills and Critical Thinking, A-Level and IB Curriculum Support, and English for Specific Purposes courses. Most recently I have been a Teaching Fellow of English for Academic Purposes at the University of London (references available upon request).

When you contact me, I will arrange a needs analysis session. This could be over the phone, via email or in person. This will help me to evaluate your needs and ambitions so that I can plan a suitable course for you. All of my courses are tailored to the individual needs. The first needs analysis session is crucial, because it gives the teacher and student a chance to discuss the content and aims of the course before commencing. It also gives the teacher and student a chance to get to know each other before lessons start.
