Methodology
Sara teaches piano from beginners to advanced students.
She offers graded exams (Trinity College London and ABRSM).
In her piano lessons, she focuses on technical aspects, such as posture, finger strength, movements and articulation. Technique will always be taught in relation to existing pieces. In addition to that, she will focus on expression and interpretation, as well as on notions of music theory and aural exercises, as integral part of a performance. According to the level of the students and to their purpose, each lesson will start with a warm-up (depending on the genre, normally scales or aural exercises) and it will be followed up by technique exercises and the performance of the pieces. The last part of the class will be dedicated to the review and assignments.
Experience
Sara is a pianist, singer and songwriter. She has experience in teaching music to students of all ages. She was classically trained and achieved a piano Diploma at the Conservatoire in Pescara, Italy, in 2014. She also achieved a Bachelor Degree in Music at the University of Bristol in 2020, studied at the Eastman School of Music in the USA and is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians. She is passionate about music, and she loves to pass on her passion to students. She loves all genres of music, from jazz to rock, from pop to classical and is available to help you achieve your musical goals.
