Classics graduate offering lessons in ancient languages and English/ primary school to university level
Methodology
The method of teaching will obviously vary depending on the level being taught. For primary school children, since there is no exam pressure, helping with specific problems and some more out of the box and fun reading and writing tasks are what normally do. With high school pupils the focus is moving onto exam material, pass papers and past paper questions, as fast as possible with targeted learning when problems emerge. If you are studying for your degree the areas I am most qualified to help are essay writing and language translation.
Experience
I am a recent graduate from the University of Glasgow looking to begin paid tutoring work. I have tutored my younger brother and sister in various subjects, especially over the last year. I graduated with 1st class honours . I also received various academic awards including the Kenmure prize for highest grade across latin and ancient greek at honours and the Cameron prize for my final year dissertation.
