Methodology
I would use a text that your child particularly enjoys or is interested in to approach reading fluency and inference/deduction as it is the most successful way to encourage engagement. For GCSE tuition, I would strongly encourage your child to obtain past papers and we can work through the syllabus of the required exam board together in order to improve confidence and make exams seem less intimidating.
Experience
I am a Comparative Literature student at Goldsmiths with ample experience coaching children aged 11-16 in reading improvement, GCSE tuition for literature/language and critical literature skills. I helped students achieve the essential 'C' grade required to progress to sixth form/college, whilst also improving their close textual analysis skills, inference, deduction and reading fluency.

24 hour cancellation will incur a charge of 70% the price of the lesson
