Computer Science graduate with teaching experience offering maths tuition up to GCSE level in London and online
Methodology
I can provide maths tuition for students from KS2 through to GCSE. I am able to give formal style sessions as you would see in schools, with a recap/theory/practice/review/homework structure about a set topic. However, I am also able to give student-led sessions, for example working through a practice paper a student found difficult, or providing tailored 1-1 revision sessions.
Due to Covid-19, I am currently unable to provide face-to-face lessons, but I am able to give sessions over webcam using Skype, Google Hangouts, Zoom, or other software.
Experience
I have recently graduated with a BSc in Computer Science, for which I took several modules of degree-level maths, with a focus on algebra and statistics. I have 3 years experience tutoring in a range of subjects including maths, where I helped struggling students move from U grades to a C (pass) grade. I have 3 months experience teaching Computer Science in secondary schools.
