Computer Science professional with 20 years of experience and a passion for tutoring
Methodology
I base my classes on online Skype, with worked examples, and occasional take-home assignments.
I am comfortable tutoring at the school, college, university and post graduate level. I have assisted in conceptual and practical assignments, as well as examination and thesis preparation
Experience
I'll be delighted to help! A little bit about me:
- I've been tutoring and working in Computing as a professional for over 20 years.
- I studied Computer Science at undergraduate and graduate level under NASA-qualified professors and received consistent A+ grades.
- I did my graduate work at Cornell University and won the World Robotic Soccer competition in 1999
- I have been teaching and mentoring for many years, particularly online, and enjoy working with students to develop their theoretical and practical computer science skills, under a programming environment. I am currently teaching computing to a number of students.
I look to make my lessons easy to understand and follow, and enjoy working with hands-on programs to show how to implement ideas. Introductory programming, graph theory, complexity, matrix programming, discrete mathematics and other related topics are my particular strengths.
