Before starting to teach, I'll get to know the student and what they require from me. Further to that, I will dedicate time to organize and create a curriculum designed for them. As always, I will start from the core fundamentals and gradually move onto more advanced concepts.
I am a Computer Science student who loves technology and programming. I started coding at the age of 11 and taught myself multiple programming languages and frameworks by working on home-grown projects. Now, I am comfortable in 5-6 languages as well as software development concepts. I am also currently the managing director of my own technology startup known as Seatspace.
In addition to that, I have experience teaching younger students - I have been tutoring my brother who is special needs in programming and graphic/web design for the past few years. Furthermore, I also used to teach Year 9-11 students Computing GCSE after school as a way of getting experience and learning the subject myself.
I have also won numerous hackathons and coding competitions including TopCoder Open Algorithm Competition, Code For Good (by J.P. Morgan) and University of Bath's Launchpad Hackathon.
I have over 5 years of experience on Windows and UNIX (Bash, zsh) operating systems as well as version control suites such as Git, Subversion and Mercurial.
