My teaching method is basically starting off with the simple and basic ideas, explaining their importance, forming a strong foundation from such concepts, then I start building up to the main concept at hand. I then start giving good examples to help the students better comprehend the problem, then I solve questions with the students, and then finally I let them solve a couple of questions on their own.
I'm a student programmer/physicist who has been tutoring since highschool and I believe that becoming a student tutor on this platform will not only enhance my set of tutoring skills, but will also help out those other fellow students in need.
The travelling fees vary from different locations of where the session takes place. It starts from £2, goes up to £3 if it were to be from 1.5-2 km away, £3.5 if it were to be from 2-3 km away, and £4 if it were to be from 3-5 km away. The price for the lesson also varies when there are multiple students attending rather than one, so the more students attending the less the price per person. Student's level is also taken into consideration.
I'm a motivated, ambitious, and hardworking Computer Science and Physics student who is keen on finding an IT/Physics related or a tutoring position in which I can gain real-world experience in a field that I wish to eventually work in. In such a job I would be able to employ the technical and logical skills I've gained through experience in related projects as well as prove my adaptability to new environments. I used to tutor my classmates and younger students as well as shadow teach in my highschool, which lead me to believe that my effort pays off and helps greatly in making other students' studies easier and more interesting.
