My lessons will be tailored to the individual in question, but will dominantly follow the order of scales, etudes, pieces. I focus on building a strong technical base, and a deep understanding of musical phrases. I always teach by example.
My main experience is as a soloist/chamber musician in eastern Europe, with which I have won several national( Friss Antal Gordonkaverseny) and international competitions( Talents for Europe). I attended High School in paralell with the Bartok conservatory, but eventually decided to learn biochemistry at Queen Mary's. Over the past few years I have had several informal students ranging from 10yr olds to adult learners. If you are interested in cello as a hobby, or need someone to guide your kid and
encourage them to practice more ( I had a similar mentor), but also actually want to progress and work with the famous Hungarian methods:
I'm your guy. The video linked is a bad recording of 13yr old me at a national competition. My dorm room might be too small to hold lessons, I am more than happy to travel.
QMUL music scholar, with a lot of passion to share music with others!
Miklos is an excellent teacher. You can really tell he cares about teaching you and making sure you improve with each lesson. Don't let his young age deter you from choosing him; I personally am older than him, but he shows real maturity and professionalism during our sessions.
Overall I would easily recommend him for any age and level.
