I am a creative artistic tutor with fantastic communication skills, my subject area is vast and have been teaching Theatrical Costume Design. Fashion Drawing, working drawing is an area of design that is good for portfolios and can benefit students who want to gain entrance on to an arts or fashion degree.
I have taught a home schooled teenager and worked in special educational needs, I have taught level 5 HND, Btec level 3 Foundation Art and Design and level 2 Btec Art and Design.
teach both Art and Design as well as Sewing constructed textiles and creative art textiles.
My approach is to build confidence in my learners through mutual respect, giving them the skills to build a body of work they are proud of.
My Btec level 2 students came to me straight from school with very little in the way of confidence or exam results. The gained the skills and confidence necessary to go forward to level 3 Foundation courses in Fashion, Graphics and Art and Design. Some have gone on to University and now in full time employment.
I truly believe in education being the passport to your future.
