I have taught in various mainstream primary schools in the UK and Gibraltar, as well as spending three months teaching in a Special Educational Needs school in Gibraltar. I am also a qualified Girlguiding Brownie Leader and volunteered for a number of years back in Gibraltar. I have A Levels in Performance Studies, English Literature and History. Student Teacher / January 2016 – March 2016
Spent 3 months in a Special Needs School working with children from the ages 3 – 16 with a range of learning and physical disabilities. My responsibilities included planning and teaching lessons, observing different classes and serving as a TA as and when needed. I also attended teacher staff meetings and Professional Development days.
Stay and Play Leader / June 2016 – August 2016
I worked part-time and on a volunteer basis for the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority on their Summer Spots Programme aimed specifically at providing sport, leisure, physical activity, music and arts for children with profound learning and physical disabilities. I worked as part of a team to provide a varied programme that aimed at developing coordination, agility, strength and creativity. As part of our role, we were required at the end of each day to fill out progress evaluations, reporting on the child’s wellbeing, behaviour and progress that they were making within the programme.
PGCE Placements / October 2016 – July 2017

Dramatherapy Year 1 Placement
I spent 6 months providing Dramatherapy to six children between the ages of 8 - 10 at a local Primary School in Cambridge. Providing them with a safe space in which they could explore any emotions or difficult experiences they may have or may be going through. These children had a range of social, emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties and I would meet with them on a weekly basis. Whilst I largely worked autonomously, I was also part of a multi-disciplinary working alongside teachers and a family support worker. My responsibilities included writing session notes on each client and arranging meetings with parents.
