I like to keep my lessons a bit relaxed so students can feel free to ask my any questions they have without being shy. I like to base my lessons and teaching style of how I have been taught and what seemed to have worked for me, but I am free to changing it slightly or adapting it to however the student feels most comfortable.
I prefer teaching at home because it means I have access too all my resources and as a result can provide more to those I'm helping and its more relaxed. I personally think it is more beneficial for me and the student if they could nominate a topic to learn beforehand so it gives me time to collect my resources and tailor them to the students needs :)
I am a current A-Level student studying: Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. I did my GCSEs last year so am familiar with the entire new 9-1 process from the content that students need to know, to what it feels like sitting there doing the exam. Having gone through the whole process myself I know what were my weaknesses and can help other students avoid them.
She worked really well with my son and was able to help him understand and learn the content that he was struggling with.
