I can give lessons to those from year four to year twelve. I usually give the student a test on their first day to see what standard they're at so I get an idea of their current knowledge. I identify their weaknesses as i teach them for a few lessons and I teach each topic thoroughly until the student fully understands and is able to answer exam - style questions. After each topic has been taught I give them an end of topic test and monitor their progress throughout and prepare them well for their exams.
I have been teaching mathematics for 4 years where I have taken group lessons as well as one-to-one lessons. I prefer teaching each student individually as I fully focus on that students weaknesses and spend more time going over topics they struggle with. My students always get 80% or above in tests and I aim to encourage them and build up their self-confidence to achieve higher grades and develop their knowledge. I have experience working for a private tuition company for 3 years where I have taught students from year seven to year twelve.
For year four to year six I would be charging £10 per hour.
For year seven to year eleven it would be £13 per hour.
For year 12 I would be charging £17 per hour.
For AS Further Maths I would charge £20 per hour.
