I aim to ensure that you can understand the fundamentals of the language before building in specific examples and questions in a layered approach to maximise results without resorting to the dull and ineffective 'wrote learning' that is so often wrongly endorsed.
I am a current medical student who has studied French at both GCSE and Sixth form level. In addition to this, several weeks spent each year immersing myself in French language and culture amongst native speakers has put me in an ideal position to offer tution to your child.
I received tuition from Matt throughout my final year of GCSEs, as I was struggling to process the knowledge of Biology and Chemistry I had learned over the previous two years in to an appropriate format in exams, in order to gain the ‘easy’ marks. Without Matt’s guidance in structuring essay questions, I doubt I would have been able of getting two A*s in both subjects. On account of his clarity in teaching and great subject knowledge, I fully recommend him to anyone who is searching for a tutor in either of those subjects.
Matt was fundamental in helping me access the top grades at GCSE when my teacher’s outdated methodology proved ineffective. He helped me most with Chemistry and Biology, subjects I had no interest in, because he has a great understanding and knowledge so he’s able to explain topics in such a way that is easy to understand and remember.
I’ve known Matt for several years now, and his insight and ability to explain new concepts to me personally has always been stellar. Perpetually approachable and friendly, he’d make a phenomenal tutor to anyone
