So far I have taught at homes but would be happy to use Skype aswell. I usually ask that my students bring a list of topics they are most unsure on and we can try example questions together and then work on exam/practice questions. However the work we do can vary depending on personal needs .
I am an A level student taking maths, further maths, French and chemistry at Egglescliffe sixth form. This year I took my GCSEs and achieved 8 grade 9s (including chemistry and maths) 1 grade 8 and 1 grade 7. • A grade 9 is roughly equivalent to an A**•.
I have already tutored 2 students in maths in the past year who massively improved in confidence and ability during my time with them.
I have just completed my GCSE exams and achieved 8 grade 9s (including maths and chemistry), one grade 8 and 1 grade 7. *grade 9 is equivalent to A**, 8= A* and 7=A. I have studied at Egglescliffe school and will continue there for my A levels.
Outside of school I enjoy kayaking and playing the saxophone.
I have tutored two students in the last year, one who was doing their SATs and one in secondary school and both I and the parents felt the students finished much more confident and able in their maths classes. I have also done work experience in a local primary school last year.
