About Liam
I am a college student currently enrolled at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I have experience playing jazz guitar for gigs all around the city in various contexts including with a jazz band and solo. I have been playing music for 10+ years now and the guitar specifically for 6+ years. In addition to jazz guitar, in high school, I have also taken private lessons and studied classical guitar at the college level at Clark University in Dubuque, Iowa.
I have always had a deep love and passion for music pretty much my entire life and I hope to spread the joy and love I get from music with the rest of the world through my teaching!

10+ years of playing music and playing multiple instruments including the piano, guitar, violin, etc. has given me a great deal of experience in what it takes to learn about music and how to play an instrument. I’ve developed a strong understanding of how to approach music education and make it easy to understand as well as enjoyable. Through taking lessons with me, I will be able to teach the following concepts and skills and so much more:
*Scales, chords, and arpeggios
*Improvisation techniques
*How to read music
*Music theory (concepts that range from the basic fundamentals to advanced)
