Methodology
I make lesson plans before every lesson so that I have a system. If we do not cover everything in the lesson, I will change my plan accordingly. I never push the pupils too hard but I encourage them to try their best and to push themselves.
Experience
I have been playing classical piano for 15 years. I have achieved ABRSM Grade 8 piano performance and ABRSM Grade 5 theory. My intention following graduation is to study for a post graduate certificate in education at Manchester Metropolitan University to become a full time music teacher.

Emma was required to teach me how to play the piano. I have never played the piano and I never in a million years thought I could achieve this. Emma explained to me the theory behind the notation music so I can keep a good rhythm and obey the score for correct interpretation. We gradually moved onto a piece where Emma's fantastic explanation of why fingering on the piano is so important helped me achieve my full potential within the piece . I couldn't praise Emma enough and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn to play the piano at any stages .
