Currently an International Relations student offering English and Maths tuition in Essex

About the lesson

In the first session, I usually give an informal assessment so that I can assess the level the student is at and also which topics they need work on. From here, I create a timeline and lesson plans for a 12 week period. After these 12 weeks, I have a review session where my student undertakes another assessment so that I can track their progress. I believe that an encouraging and motivating attitude works best to keep students motivated and positive about their learning experience. I like to make sure that my students are engaging in the session as much as possible, so that they are getting the most out of it and fully understanding what they are being taught. It is my personal opinion that practice makes perfect and therefore, I like to give my students lots of topic related questions so that they can continuously repeat what they have learnt and perfect their exam technique.
