About the lesson
I take more of a hands-on approach to tutoring, not to be confused with babying. My tutees benefit from feedback, but I also work through my feedback with them, so they understand why they need to change things, instead of criticizing all of the time.
Typical length of lessons are anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on Tutee's availability, and we work around available times during the week.
I have a plethora of teaching experience, ranging from Year 6 to first-year undergraduates at University. This variety allows me to diversify my teaching technique to suit any tutee. My target is usually A-level students or first-year undergraduates, but anyone is welcome.

- Social Skills
I have a keen interest in the clinical aspects of Psychology, I have not always been this academically inclined but through overcoming adversity and climbing over obstacles I never thought possible, I realise that my goals of becoming a clinical psychologist and eventually setting up my own private practice are perhaps not that far-fetched.
The first year of undergraduate psychology has been intense, although it has provided me opportunity for developing my research skills through assisting on a PhD project, volunteering, becoming president of the psychology society, signing up as a Level 4 course rep and attaining a Dean's award for it. As difficult as this past year has been, it has only developed my abilities and made me steadfast in my future goals.
I believe overcoming these adversities has given me a different outlook on life and to the importance of passing on what I have learnt to upcoming academics, which has influenced my teaching approach.
