I am a UK qualified English Teacher, My speciality is Poetry! If you are having any trouble with some sort of Poetry whether that be KS3 GCSE or A Level or, then im the tutor for you! I specialise in helping students unpicking meaning in poems.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
My main subject is English and more specifically poetry, however I am able to teach other subjects such as Media Studies, History and Citizenship. I specialise in working with students who are failing to achieve their potential especially in the area of poetry, shakespeare and eliciting meaning from texts. Poetry does not have to be hard and it can even be fun! The key is to really grasp what the Poet is trying to say- after all the best songs are poems!

For all Teaching the cost is £30 per hourly session
For specific Public Speaking Coaching which takes place out of my Central London Consulting room the charge is £100 per hourly session

I travel to the student's home- Zones 1-3 (further zones can be arranged but travel may be added)
For Public Speaking Coaching sessions take place in my consulting room in EC2N

I have experience working as a Teacher in both Primary and Secondary Schools and Pupil Referral Units- Teaching English, Media Studies, Citizenship and History. I have also worked as a Teacher of Students with Special Educational Needs, helping students who are underachieving in school.
I am myself a Poet- and regularly perform and recite poetry.
Have worked with many students, not attending school- homeschooling them.
I also work as a Public Speaking Coach- preparing professionals for presentations, interviews and speeches- through confidence building exercises.
