BA (Hons) Visual and Performing Arts, PGCE
- How much do you charge?
My fees are from £25 pr hr to £30pr hr. I offer a free half hour first consultation and will offer a discount for groups or block bookings.
- Where do you teach?
Classes normally take place in proffesional drama studios at either ACT Brighton or ACT Hove (this is included in the teaching fees). I am willing to travel to students but this will incur extra costs.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students 14 years and upwards.
I teach from beginners to advanced actors and public speakers.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I draw upon eclectic range of styles and influences in my teaching practice and believe that students should be empowered as creative individuals, have a generosity of spirit, understand and own their process, be professional and courteous and feel able and fully equipped to engage in the rigours of a professional career.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I am a teacher and theatre director with over 25 years professional experience. I worked extensively as an actor in theatre, film and television before embarking on a career as a Director and Teacher.
I have taught in various colleges and Drama Schools including City College Brighton and Hove where I was head of Performing Arts and Media. I am currently Head of Acting at The Academy of Creative Training in Brighton, Sussex.

I have a fully enhanced CRB.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I completed my degree in Performing Arts at the University of Brighton (1987) where some years later I also completed my PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education). I started working professional (for the National Theatre) when I was 15 and I have worked professional in the industry for over 25 years.
I come from a theatrical background, which in hindsight I now realise as an educator, was a marvellous gift, allowing me firsthand experience of a broad range of theatre and acting at the highest levels as well as access to the practitioners and makers of that theatre.

- Tell me about some of your current students.
I work with a range of students - 16+ on BTEC National Diploma Performing Arts, Drama School Students, Professional Actors, Private Tuition and Audition coaching. I also work within the corporate sector on presentation skills and public speaking.
I have helped previous students to gain entrance to; RADA, Central School of Speech and Drama, East 15, Mountview and LAMDA amongst others. Previous students of mine can be found working extensively in TV, Film and Theatre.
