About the lesson

Hello! I'm a cellist and pianist looking to teach people of all ages and abilities. I'm based in Didsbury and look forward to showing you how rewarding music really can be!

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

I teach the cello, piano, GCSE/A Level Music, Chamber Music, and ABRSM Graded Music Theory Exams.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

2004: ABRSM Grade 8 Cello - Distinction
2007 - 2010: First Class BA(Hons) degree in music from Leeds College of Music (LCM)
2010 - 2012: MMus in Solo Performance (Distinction) from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM)

- How much do you charge?

£12.50 for half an hour
£18 for 45 minutes
£25 for 1 hour

I offer a free 30 minute consultation lesson so you can come along and have a taster. We can also talk about your aims and decide what the best plan of action is for you.

- Where do you teach?

Ideally I would like to teach at my house. However, if necessary, I can travel to the student's house if it's not too far from my house (East Didsbury, M20 5AA).

I teach at Leeds College of Music every Thursday and have spaces for new pupils who live in Leeds and want to learn on a Thursday.

- When are you available?

My timetable is very flexible. I am confident I can find a time that suits us both.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Cello: ALL ages and ALL levels are welcome!
Piano: Beginner - Grade 4

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

I can prepare my students for any exams, but the most popular choice is the ABRSM Graded Examinations. I am also able to prepare students for scholarship auditions, music college auditions and orchestral auditions.

- Do you have a personal message for students?

I look forward to meeting you, and helping you on your journey to becoming a fine musician!
