Methodology
I am studying for a bachelor in music (oboe performance) at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have a diploma in music performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, and was the recipient of their oboe scholarship.
I love teaching! I have lots of experience teaching 1:1, and have even taken a module through my university specifically on music teaching.
I enjoy finding out what makes each student tick, everyone learns in a unique way! Therefore, I will tailor your individual needs, to help you.
I also have experience teaching children Music, but also with English. I worked in a language school with my own class between the ages of 9 to 16.
I am really looking forward to beginning your musical adventure!
Experience
I have been teaching the oboe for around 2 years. I am hooked, I absolutely love it! I enjoy seeing the satisfaction my students get from learning to play the oboe, and to guide them through the process.
I have also taught groups of children English in an international language school.
Throughout my music education, I have been lucky enough to have been taught by many inspiring teachers. I look forward to being able to pass on their insights to the next generation of musicians.
