I like to have everything planned out and am against not following the plan and organisation. It enlightens me and makes me happy to help out students. I consider myself an organised and efficient tutor who bases everything they do according to timing. I am a tutor who also requires help from his students: once I start studying/teaching maths, I can't stop!
I am an A-Level student in London. I have taught Maths to many 11+ and SATs students (primary school), however, having achieved an A* in GCSE Maths, I am willing to teach GCSE students, along with these younger students. All the students I have taught have been practising for their 11+ exams; I have been able to help all of them to get into their dream school.
GCSE Students: £15 p/hour
SATS/11+ Students: £10 p/hour
Years 7-9: £12 p/hour
I received A* in my GCSE Maths. However, prior to entering my GCSE exams, I entered many maths challenges and competitions. I have taken part in the junior, intermediate and even senior UKMT Mathematics Challenge, including individual and team competitions. Out of 6 entries, I achieved a gold reward in 2 of them and silver in the remaining 4. I also attended the Pangea Maths Challenge in 2018, receiving Bronze award amongst 400 students, winning a cash prize.
I also received some professional experience in Maths, although it is not relevant to GCSE maths; I worked in a Law Firm in St Pauls during the summer of 2019. I worked in the financial department, dealing with invoices, partnership fees and sponsorship fees.
I am now studying Maths and Further Maths in A-Levels along with Physics and Spanish.
