I have just completed my undergraduate degree and so am willing to teach up to A-Level standard. As someone who has recently gone through the school system I remember first hand the nerves and stress associated with revision and learning new topics, especially after the GCSE to A-Level jump.
I believe in gaining a basic understanding of the whole topic before specialising, as this helps facts to stick because of deeper level of understanding. To help support this I use mindmaps and timelines and regularly refresh previous knowledge.
I have just finished my undergraduate degree and whilst I have no previous experience of tutoring I do instead have personal experience of the education system. I have, however, worked with young people before in a variety of different settings which enables me to adapt my approach for the individual to achieve success.
2014-2017 - BA in Modern History from UEA, expected 2:1
Upon receiving my undergraduate result I will be undertaking an MA in Military History by Research.
