I can teach Biology and Chemistry up to University level. With younger students I believe a structured curriculum and emphasis on basic ideas and theory is fundamental to get the student engaged and actively start thinking about science (early high school level). As the student progresses and acquires more knowledge we can start dividing and categorizing information into specific topics and going deeper into each module (IGCSE and A level). Finally students at mid-A level or early University must start to appreciate the importance of specialization as this will be very important in becoming 'experts' in their domain- both during their Undergraduate and Postgraduate Studies.
I'm a Biology graduate from the University of Nottingham and a recent MSc graduate from King's College London where I studied Forensic Science. To be honest this is the first professional teaching I will be doing. However I have helped few people whom needed clarification and had difficulties with scientific content. I enjoy transmitting and talking about science and would love to get the opportunity to teach students how they can apply theoretical knowledge early on and acquire and cultivate skills that would help them in their scientific degrees and further down into making wise career choices.
MSc in Forensic Science at Kings College London and BSc Biology with Honours from The University of Nottingham. I am a disciplined individual with genuine desire to achieve the best results in everything I do. I have gained valuable experience in the healthcare sector through internships at The Nicosia General Hospital, as-well as laboratory experience within the scope of Environmental and Forensic Science.
