My teaching methodology is catered to each individual student. I have taught lessons for large classes and in one-on-one settings and adapt my teaching style as needed. I ensure that each lesson is fun and informative. Since teaching at York, I have received many awards for my outgoing, personable and fun teaching style.
I hold a doctorate degree in history from the University of York. For the last ten years, I have taught various humanities subjects at both secondary and university level. I have tutored students one-on-one in academic writing, history, English and politics. Outside my extensive teaching experience, I am a published historian and have conducted research for several high profile projects, including archival work for the BBC.
