I am a very hands-on person. My teaching method is very vocational with some theory for example - learning lines or activity based writing. I have no restriction when it comes to age as I believe everyone should get a chance to do what they love. My classes would start with Drama based games/warmups and then we would explore improvisation, script work, staging and creating performances, developing characters and many other things.
I have been studying Drama for 8 years in which I have led/assisted many workshops and drama classes. I have worked with groups as small as 10 and as big as 25. I have also done placements at schools, colleges and university. The age range I have worked with, are children from the age of 12 to adults to the age of 70.
I have recently completed a BA Honors in Theatre Arts and I have studied acting for 8 years.
I take my work very seriously as I would like to be something in life and make my family proud. I always want to achieve my goals and I am never satisfied until they are achieved. I have learnt a lot in these past few years and realized that if you aim well you will always achieve what you have been waiting for. I am a reliable and loyal person and have been told by my peers that I excel at what I do.
I like to meet new people and it does not take me a long time to adjust in new places. Having studied in India for four years, from which two of those years were at a boarding school, I have learnt many new things and also learnt how to be more independent. I have also learnt to speak, read and write two other languages: Hindi and Gujarati.
